tonight, jeremy and cadillac were dancing. i thought it was too funny, keira on the other hand, was not impressed.

merry christmas

we hope that everyone is having a very merry christmas today. our day started off with opening lots of presents. keira was more interested in the paper and all the noises that her new toys made. she got tons of stuff (most of it is pictured above) and we want to thank everyone for making this christmas very special for us.

my bologna has a first name...

this afternoon the oscar mayer weenie mobile was at the south post commissary. i was way more excited than keira was. we got a post card saying we saw it and weenie whistles!

another playdate

today we went to visit emily and her daughter audrey again. the girls are getting so much bigger. they got into the crawling position and just looked at each other. after we finished running our errands together, we put the girls in their jumpers. they had a great time jumping with each other.

after trying for a few weeks to get keira to giggle on camera, i was finally able to get it!

santa!

this morning we took keira to the px to see santa. she was more interested in his beard than looking at me to get a good picture. i am just happy that she didn't scream. (her shirt says "i love you more than santa")

happy birthday

for jeremy's birthday, we invited over a few of our friends and their kids for cake and ice cream. we had a lot of fun. after eating cake and ice cream the kids watched spiderman 3 while the adults sat in the kitchen and talked.

daddy's squadron christmas party

this evening we went to jeremy's squadron christmas party. his office was very small, so it was just a little dinner at the club on pope. i don't think that jeremy got the "casual dress" mem0, but hey, we looked really good. we had a really nice evening, and keira was very well behaved.

getting our hair done

while jake went to go pick jt up from school, i decided to give riley a mohawk. he told me that he would do it if i let him fix my hair. as you can see, he used a whole bunch of putty, gel, and mousse.

getting in the christmas spirit

yesterday, we went and bought a christmas tree. this is our first christmas that we are actually decorating. we put it together today. (we bought a star, but it doesn't stand up properly, so we have to take it back) afterwards, i decided that it needed some presents underneath it, and i wrapped what keira has already gotten. i can't wait for christmas morning!!!

drink until you can't drink anymore

lately keira has needed the help of a bottle to get her to sleep. so today we put her in her bouncy and gave her a bottle. she was so tired that within a few minutes she fell asleep, with the bottle in her hands.

carousel ride

this afternoon, keira, michelle, riley and i went into fayetteveille to run a few errands. while in town, we stopped at the mall. we were sitting in the food court eating lunch and riley asked if he could please ride the carousel. since he is not tall enough to go by himself michelle said, sure we'll all go. i wasn't sure how keira would like it, but she had a blast. she was looking at all the lights and the people as we went around. i will definitely have to take her on it again.

eating the ads

i am looking for a specific toy to get keira for christmas, so i went next door to see if i could find it in any of the ads. there it was in the k-mart ad. so i brought it home to show jeremy what i was talking about and keira kept grabbing for the paper. finally, i was done looking at them so i took her to her room and let her see the paper. it was torn up and all over her room. i can't wait until christmas morning when she has the wrapping paper everywhere.

taking steps in the walker

this evening jeremy, jake, and pops wanted to get together before pops went back home to play guitar. since jake has hardwood flooring, we took keira's walker for her to play in. while we were over there she took a few steps and was able move the walker. she is getting so big!
