flying to texas

we made it back to texas. wow is it much hotter here than in north carolina. we get to spend a month with my mom and dad. h0pefully we will be able to see my sister, jess, while we are out here. during the plane ride, keira had her first peanut butter and jelly sandwhich. she ate so well, i was suprised. the trip was really nice. there were only 18 people on our flight!

happy birthday dominic

today we went to celebrate dominic's second birthday. keira and dominic loved playing in the bounce house together.

i took off one of the couch cushions, and keira thought it was the coolest thing. she was climbing all over and around the couch.

loving the park

this evening, jeremy and i took keira to the little park across the street. while we were there, her new little boyfriend, dominic, and his dad, rich, showed up. we played for a while, and after we were done we went down by the lake to see if there were any geese down there. for some reason, the geese weren't there, so we went back to the park. keira is really loving the new apartment. there is so much more for the two of us to do during the day.

and finally there was the last box. i was so happy to finally have everything unpacked and put away, and so was keira. she was crawling in and around the box. it was too funny. jeremy got in there with her, and she was playing peek-a-boo with me. she cracks me up. when he got out she was pushing the box around the living room. all the toys that she has, and she wants to play with a box, go figure!

fun, fun, fun

today we had a very busy, fun day. we started off by going to the arcade. jeremy beat me in air hockey, but only because the tables were old. i am a sore loser, i know. we let keira ride on some of the little baby rides. she had a blast. after we went to the arcade, we walked over to play minature golf. there i was able to redeem myself. it was like i had no competition at all. we went out to lunch and then went to a new park on base. when we got home, shondra and her kids came over and we went swimming. keira loved the pool. i was so happy. she did so well. she splashed and never stopped smiling. after that we came back to the house and grilled some hot dogs and hamburgers out by the lake. it was a great day.

loving her new room

keira really loves her new room. it is so much bigger than the room at the old house, and she has all her toys in there. she goes into her room and plays all by herself. it is so nice.
